Matthew George is an experienced Support Coordination professional within the NDIS sector, representing Ability Options across the Hunter and Central Coast regions. One of three senior leaders in Ability Options, Matt is responsible with his colleagues for leading a team of 50 incredible Support Coordinators supporting over 1300 participants throughout NSW. He has extensive experience supporting participants with complex needs to navigate the NDIS, implement their plans, and access both funded and mainstream services to achieve meaningful, person-centred outcomes.

Matthew holds tertiary qualifications in Psychology, along with a Graduate Certificate in Special and Inclusive Support, which underpin his strong understanding of human behaviour, disability, and inclusive practice. He has played a key role in strengthening operational consistency and service delivery across regions, contributing to the standardisation of intake and onboarding processes and supporting staff capability development. Matthew has led training initiatives and supported teams to embed efficient, participant-focused systems and workflows.

Matthew’s work is grounded in a deep understanding of the practical and systemic challenges within the NDIS, including collaboration with health services, navigating transitions from aged care, and advocating for participants with complex needs. He is particularly passionate about ensuring Support Coordination delivers genuine value in coordinating care for participants in remote and regional settings.
