Dr Chelsea Tobin

Dr Chelsea Tobin is Chief Executive Officer of genU and an experienced turnaround executive with a distinguished career leading complex organisational transformation across the not-for-profit and commercial sectors. She brings extensive expertise in strategy development, system reform, and executive leadership within human services, education, and community support environments.


Prior to her current role, Chelsea was Chief Executive Officer of Safe Steps Family Violence Response Centre, where she led the organisation’s strategic and operational response to family violence across Victoria. She has also held senior leadership positions at The MacKillop Institute and MacKillop Family Services, overseeing strategy, major projects, and organisational development.


Earlier in her career, Chelsea held director-level roles at PwC and Accenture, specialising in strategy, growth, and large-scale transformation across public and private sector clients. She is recognised for her disciplined approach to organisational change, strong governance capability, and commitment to improving outcomes in complex social service systems.
