Helen Emmerson is a dynamic and results-driven leader in Human Resources, with apassion for delivering impactful change. She brings extensive experience in leading people and workforce strategies, consistently translating organisational goals into tangible outcomes. Currently, Helen serves as the General Manager of Human Resources where she is responsible for overseeing a range of people and workforce matters. She provides strategic advice to the executive team and leads initiatives that enhance organisational engagement, and the overall employee experience.
Helen is a thoughtful and inspiring leader, deeply committed to empowering others and making a positive difference in the lives of those she works with, always leading withempathy and a genuine desire to uplift those around her. Before joining Unisson Disability, Helen was the Director of People and Culture at NSW Justice Health & Forensic Mental Health Network, where she worked closely with the Chief Executive and executive team on HR matters, culture transformation, and strategic alignment.
She also led critical workforce initiatives in engagement, education, and Aboriginal workforce development, alongside managing key HR functions.
